About Brooke Hospital For Animals (India):
The Brooke is an international animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of working horses, donkeys, mules and the people who depend on them. We reach over 2 million working animals across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. Our staff include veterinarians, animal welfare experts, and advocacy & development specialists. BI is a Section 8 Not for Profit Company under the Companies Act 2013, which is an affiliate of BUK, which works for the welfare and health of working equines and the development of a community that owns them. It operates in 12 States & Union Territories and implements its programme directly.
About the Internship Program: Brooke India is committed to empowering persons with disabilities by providing an inclusive platform to build skills and gain experience in social work and animal welfare. This internship is designed to encourage learning, participation, and professional growth for PWD candidates in a supportive environment.
Successful completion of the 3-month internship may also lead to opportunities for project-based consultancy assignments with the organization.
